Momentum growing for Let’s Play Baseball/Softball Expo
Momentum is growing for the 2014 Let’s Play Baseball/Softball Expo, set for March 7-8, 2014 at the RiverCentre in St. Paul, Minn. Announced just a short time ago, exhibitors and organizers are excited for the upcoming consumer show.
“The Minnesota Twins and Play Ball! Minnesota are excited to be a part of the Let’s Play Baseball/Softball Expo,” said Josh Ortiz, Minnesota Twins manager of community programs. “The Expo will no doubt bring excitement for the new youth baseball and softball seasons, as well as provide players and coaches with access to some of the best equipment and resources available.”
“What better way to kick off the 2014 season than with the Let’s Play Baseball/Softball Expo,” said Gerry Turnberg, Minnesota USSSA state director. “It will give all ballplayers the chance to see the latest technology from all of their favorite equipment manufacturers.”
“MYAS/Gopher State Baseball is extremely excited about the opportunity to partner with Let’s Play Baseball/Softball and their second annual Expo,” said Dawson Blanck, director of the Gopher State Baseball League. “The youth baseball community has been in need of such an event for some time now. Individuals will have a chance to check out a variety of baseball manufacturers and entrepreneurs to take advantage of their products in 2014 and beyond!”
“What an opportunity for coaches, parents and fans of the game of baseball/softball to visit the latest equipment out there and all in one location,” said John Wilkens of the Minnesota State High School Baseball Coaches Association.
Held in conjunction with the 25th annual Let’s Play Hockey Expo, the Let’s Play Baseball/Softball Expo will showcase the latest baseball and softball products, training aids and other equipment from the major manufacturers to small companies. Free to the public, the Expo will appeal to ballplayers, parents, administrators and coaches of all ages.
The Expo will feature interactive activities (including batting cages) along with sports celebrity appearances, radio and TV personalities, product seminars, refreshments and more. In addition, the Minnesota Twins will provide support for the Expo by having their alumni participate in clinics.
The Let’s Play Baseball/Let’s Play Softball Expo will be an outstanding opportunity for companies to show their products directly to the consumer during the prime purchasing window. From major manufacturers to entrepreneurs with their unique baseball and softball products, there’s something for all baseball and softball players at the Expo.
